If I run a couple of additional Safari Tabs I expect the compressed memory to pop over 3GB at which point a region of yellow will emerge on the graph. ![]() I was wondering if I am faced with a physical compatibility issue or if Im just not applying enough pressure. The graph is green and I'm currently seeing 2.71 GB of compressed memory, 6.72 GB of memory used and 0 bytes Swap Used. Im currently trying to put in brand new ram (gskill ripjaws ddr-1333) into my asrock H77M motherboard and no matter how much pressure I use, the ram just will not go into the socket. On the Mac, Word, Safari, and Zoom (with no session up).The Windows session has a VPN connection to the office (don't know if that consumes resources).Parallels with a Windows 10 Virtual machine (itself running Edge with a few tabs, File Manager and a Powershell window).CoreTemp, AIDA64, and IntelBurn Test are the best CPU Stress test. PCMark10, BurnIn Test, HeavyLoad, and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility are the top tools for stress testing of PC. Prime95 is useful in CPU and RAM stress testing. Cinebench can be used for CPU and GPU stress testing. I've been reading around this but a lot of the information and advice out there relates to Intel based Macs and might not apply to M1/unified memory, so here goes. HWiNFO64 is the tool for CPU, GPU, and RAM stress testing.
